Children in Your Community Need You!

Today in Maryland, there are more than 11,000 children living in
foster care, removed from their homes as a result of abuse and
neglect. Maryland's fourteen CASA programs are currently serving
approximately 1,100 children in seventeen counties -- so 9 of every
10 children in foster care have no CASA volunteer advocating for
their best interests, and children in seven counties have no CASA
volunteers at all.
