Baltimore City

A Message From The Director

Thank you for your interest in CASA of Baltimore! With the state’s largest representation of abused and neglected children in foster care, Baltimore City is in dire need of caring, compassionate individuals to step forward and be a powerful voice for a child in need. We have made a commitment — a promise to our children — to put CASA volunteers into the life of every foster child who needs one in Baltimore and every day we take steps toward achieving this mission. With your help, we can fulfill this commitment. There are many ways in which you can help us. Please contact us to learn more!

What Is CASA Of Baltimore, Inc.?

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Baltimore, Inc. serves abused and neglected children by representing their voices in the Baltimore City court system and advocating for their best interests in the judicial, educational, medical and social service communities. CASA of Baltimore recruits, trains and supervises CASA’s to provide written, objective recommendations to the Court; to serve as a consistent adult presence, and to monitor that child’s well-being.

What Is The Need?

CASA of Baltimore City is always in need of additional volunteers to serve, sponsors to support their fundraising efforts, and individual donors who can contribute to help them achieve their mission of ensuring all of Baltimore City’s abused and neglected children their right to a safe, permanent home.
