| Thursday, May 15, 2008 There will be a documentary on foster care airing on Maryland Public Television (Channel 22 in the Baltimore area) at 8:30pm. At the end of the documentary, MPT will feature "10 Ways to Get Involved with Foster Youth in Maryland," and CASA will be one of the organizations highlighted. Edward Kilcullen, Executive Director of the Maryland CASA Association, will be interviewed on 1420 WNAV Radio Friday, May 16, 2008 during the Bill Lusby Good Morning Annapolis show at 9:30am about the event. In addition, Mr. Kilcullen will be interviewed on Fox 45 WBFF on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 6:30am. Maryland CASA staff and volunteers will be staffing a booth and will be available to discuss CASA with event visitors. Information about CASA will be on hand for distribution. Volunteer recruitment is a major goal of the event, as well as increased public awareness. Sunday, June 22, 2008 Maryland CASA Association staff, board members and volunteers will be staffing the Maryland Public Television (Channel 22) pledge drive 3pm-7pm. The CASA logo will be featured and Edward Kilcullen, Executive Director, will be interviewed about Maryland CASA Association and its contribution to the community. |
